I was wondering if I could use my sim on these modems. Then I got to realize they're CDMA modems and work with UIMs instead. So I'm thinking, if a visafone UIM will work on a MultiLinks EVDO huawei modem if unlocked. Any ideas? I hate being limited to one network. And Ion have a way to get any RUIM/UIM (zoom, reltel, visafone, starcomms etc) |

The CDMA networks would not like this.I am also interested in knowing how I can use my Novatel U-727 for both Zoom, Visafone and Starcomms, since all three use Novatel modems. I hope it is possible |

I found out its possible if you know the unlock code ofg the modem! The big question now is, How will you get the correct unlock code? The code calculators around don't work for recent modems cos the firmware is up to date! Any other Ideas? |

it is possible to achieve if only we can link any of the available parameters to the unlock code. the other modems have imei while the cdma don't have. is there is any of its parameter that is unique so that we will try to make a link to the unlock code using that parameter |
