#Edo people of #Nigeria constructed the Walls of #Benin, the world's largest man-made earth structure, 4 times longer than the Great Wall of China. 

Complete with defensive moats, paths an alleys & decorated in mosaic art form. Destroyed by British colonial forces in 1897.
