This story broke in the news in Massachusetts, U.S.A yesterday where local TV station Boston 25 News reported that an illegal immigrant from Ghana who allegedly goes by the name Frederic Amfo is alleged to have raped a female passenger in the back seat of his car after picking her up as an Uber driver. The lady who identified herself to the TV stations is said to have gone to the police where DNA evidence from a rape kit and information from Amfo’s car led to his arrest. Amfo was subsequently released on $10,000 bail and asked to submit his passport within 24 hours. However, it is alleged that Amfo has fled to his home country of Ghana without submitting his passport.
