Breaking: popular Swedish DJ who is also a music producer Tim Bergling who goes by his popular stage name Avicii is dead, confirmed by his publicist Diana Baron.

The Swedish DJ was reportedly found dead on Friday, April 20, 2018. He died at 28.

Diana Baron said in a statement,

“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii.

The Swedish DJ was reportly found dead in Muscat, Oman today being April 20th.

The family affected family is still devastated and we all ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this time of difficulties.

In the year 2016, the Swedish DJ, Avicii stopped performing live due to health issues. It was reported that he had suffered from acute pancreatitis owing, which was caused by excessive drinking, according to the reports we gathered.

In 2014, Avicii had his gallbladder and appendix removed.

He was best known for hit songs like ‘Wake Me Up’ and ‘Levels’ – both of which peaked at number one on the Billboard list of top dance club songs.

Avicii, who was twice-nominated for a Grammy Award, released his debut album ‘True’ in 2013, and it premiered in the top ten in ten different countries.
