Job Title: Personal (Technical) Assistant/Confidential Secretary
Location: Lagos, Nigeria

As recruiting firm for a growing company offering services within the Nigerian oil and gas industry, we seek a young and highly driven individual to be based in Lagos.


Job Role:
• Arrange business meetings with prospective clients and take phone calls on behalf of company executives.
• Filing of company documents for easy reference.
• Proper record keeping of company personnel contacts and key sub suppliers/service providers.
• Recognize and propose business opportunities.
• Submit daily and weekly progress reports as appropriate.
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
• Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
• Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
• Provide trustworthy feedback to company executives.

Requirements
• Excellent understanding of confidentiality and trust.
• Intelligent and highly focused with success in mind.
• Have excellent computer and organizational skills.
• Leadership potential, with ability to act responsibily with minimum supervision.
• Self-driven and highly motivated.
• Ability to undertake assignments and improvise within short notice.
• Hardworking and open minded.
• Strong individual network/contacts within the oil companies and marginal operator companies and government will be a good advantage.Solid understand of the use of business networking applications and techniques to ease access to new and existing clientelle.
• Have reporting and analyzing skills
• Have excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Have excellent human networking skills.
• Open to university graduates (technical courses preferred).
• Major focus on personal experiences to be able to function efficiently on this job role.
• Past experience in working closely with business executives will give an advantage.
• Be able to handle tasks under pressures and meet tight deadlines
• Be proficient in the use of basic software applications, particularly MS office (excel, word, power point).
• Be proficient in the use of computer hardware; including phone, laptop, printers, scanners etc.
• Willingness to travel for company assignments and represent the company directors in taking notes and giving accurate feedback where required.
