Before answering the question, think about these.

Horror stories of tomb raiders and ritualists who connive with cemetery workers to cut off body parts of corpses is rampant in Government or public cemeteries. Some even have sex with these corpses to acquire spiritual powers

Not sure same happens at private cemeteries and church owned cemeteries, can't be too sure though.

As for burying a corpse in the residential compound of the deceased, what about the alleged spiritual implication of a ghost lurking around a house where people reside?

You can't even be so sure you will die and your body will be found. Lots simply go missing. Some get incinerated in fire when their cars caught fire,leaving nothing to be buried. Some will die in the sea with no body recovered.
