Have you ever searched on the internet for information like how to market products and services online? Or you want to learn the skill of marketing online and you came across some words that you really do not understand what they meant. That is terms, and precisely that is Digital Marketing terms or you can call it jargons.

Note, anything that has to do with establishing presence and marketing of products and services online is called Digital Marketing.

And just like every other dealings or field out there, there are terms that are associated with Digital Marketing. Most of these terms might mean different thing for field A but have another meaning for Digital Marketing.

I Tried googling this key phrase “One word different meaning,” here is what I got from one of the listings in my search results.

Examples;

8. Email Marketing: Promotion of content, product and service through Email. This involves performing marketing activities through email services.

9. Digital-marketing Channels: Various tools and platforms that can be used to carry out Digital Marketing activities.

10. Facebook Business Page: A public webpage on Facebook that be created to represent a brand. By having a business page you are enabled to have access to Facebook Ads Manager. Facebook business page allows brand to engage with users, users can like page, share, comment, message, post content etc

11. Facebook Ads Manager: This is a tool in Facebook that is used in creating, managing and track Facebook ads. Facebook have an advertising tools that Facebook business pages can use to reach more people in their network.

12. Link: A hypertext, a sort of text or object that when clicked will transfer you to another section or different webpage. They are commonly found in blue or red color. But it can be any color.

13. Website: A static kind of webpage that displays relevant information about a company or brand.

14. Blog: unlike website, blog display in trend, with regularly updated content.

15. Blogger: Someone who manages and updates a blog site.

16. Blogging: All the process that is involved in dealing with blog. This includes managing, marketing, monetizing, optimizing etc.

32. Index: The process of categorizing a web content. Search engines use it to gather similar content together in the web, so to show it in search results.

33. AdsWords: An advertising that is mostly in text format. It’s use to advertise in search engines or other platform in the internet that supports ads in text format.

35. Search Engine Optimisation: Also know as SEO, is the process of making a web content rank higher in search engine.
