Implement Critical Infrastructure Protection Bill, ATCON Tells Nigerian Governme by technative(f): 10:47am On Apr 26, 2018
The Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria (ATCON) has asked the Nigerian government to implement the Critical Infrastructure Protection Bill designed to protect telecom installations, facilities and infrastructures in the country.
“Base stations are shut down by either local government or state government without any prior notice to service provider and this usually accounts for poor quality of telecoms service in Nigeria,” said ATCON’s president, Mr. Olusola Teniola during a recent courtesy visit to a former president of ATCON who is now the Secretary to the Akwa Ibom State Government, Dr. Emmanuel Effiong Ekuwem.
