1. Start a photo blog or YouTube channel
You can create income from a photo blog or a YouTube channel that is dedicated to photos.

Many bloggers make a fortune from blogs by placing direct or indirect adverts on their website. They blog about subjects that interest a specific segment of internet users.

This could be in form of news, reviews, articles and tips. You could be creative and unique about the style of content you publish on your blog to make it more appealing and interesting.

On YouTube, you could do the same. But, because YouTube is basically a video sharing platform, your content has to be made in video format.

You need to know that advert pricings (or earnings) are usually proportional to the amount of audience and engagements you get on your blog or YouTube channel daily or monthly.

2. Sell your print photos
Photos can be printed and framed for use as decorations or memorabilia. People will buy photos of beautiful things, interesting places or popular persons.

You could sell your framed print photos at local art or photo galleries, art exhibitions and auctions.

You could place them at restaurants, airport terminals and shopping stores for interested buyers to find them easily.

3. Sell or license your photos to stock photo sites
There are several stock photo sites on the internet where you can upload your photo and license them for use by other people in return for some money.

Flickr currently has this sort of programme going on. Now, you can license your photos on Flickr to other people through Getty Images. Turn on ‘Request to License’ for your photos, and Getty Images will review the photos and let you know if it is suitable for the programme.

4. Join photo contests
From time to time, photo competition or contests pop-up online. They usually offer cash prizes and other rewards to photographs who submit the best photos.

If finding photo contests is difficult, find photography groups or forums online. Some of the people on those platforms share news about latest photo events, including competitions. You could also find photo contests online on this site.

Whichever way you choose to make money with your photos, make sure it is fun and fairly rewarding.
