It's stupidity to ban codiene in the first place. What we should actually do is to strengthen our system. Codiene is a pharmacologically useful drugs and measure should be put in place to make sure prescription drugs are truly left as prescription drugs. The so called Johesu pharmacists fighting for false sanity and ugly equity in the health sector are culprits here. They should be arrested and their kiosk, which doubles as death houses closed. It's regulations are made these drugs dispensed inappropriately by pharmacist would not become a social menace. We know the truth but will never apply it. Nigeria is seconds to being doomed.

the question is as long as you've taken cough syrup before you must've in one way or the other taken one with codeine. The problem here is abuse of it. It's either they find alternative effective substance in cough syrup manufacturing or they make it a prescription drug or embark proper orientation.

I have taken codeine before...hate it tho. However, I still abuse Tramadol. I take Shisha and smoke weed. Hope to experiment with other drugs soon. #codeineBan isn't the solution. It is the abuse of d drugs that should be tackled.
