why not go to your hospital of choice and ask cos you'd get more accurate estimate from them

At Luth, Lagos You should budget at least 80,000. This includes the cost for food and board, Anestesia and drugs for surgery and Recovery. That is how much i paid earlier this yr. However, with my previous c/s at a private Hospital, I paid 250,000 for same even though the service was no better. I hope this helps.

The cost of caesarean section is determined by a lot of factors. It is cheaper in government hospitals than in private hospitals. In FMC, Jalingo the Op. fee is N20,000. When the cost of post op. drugs, lab. tests, feeding & other logistics is included, the cost may go up to N40,000 - N50,000.
The cost ranges from N50,000 - N500,000 in private hospitals depending on where the clinic is located, the calibre of patients that use the facility & the calibre of obstetricians that perform the operation.

it varies from states to states, hospitals to hospitals.
Good private hospitals in Enugu plus theatre fee, surgeon's, anaesthetist, anaesthesia and small other stuff, it totals N120k/N130k
Govt/Missionary hospital btw 80k/100k

i know about a few hospitals in Abuja
- National hospital - it is about 95k
-In Nissa premier hospital it was about 450k in 2010
-In DIFF, it was about 600k in 2010
- in AREWA, between 250k to 350.
i dont know if the prices have been reviewed oh.
