ok guys,i'm a newbie in d stock market industry and i'm about to start investing in shares,my question is,is it worth the risk? i need some expertise advice on this one.Also i need to know what these terms mean: No of Deals,Share index,e.g 1,000,000 ordinary shares of 50k each at 4 naira per share, stockbroker,stock exchange,IPO,Gains,loss.Please enlighten me.Imagine if i had invested in the Standard Trust Bank(now UBA) Share offer about 5 years ago at N4.00 per share,now it's N39.00! |

i think your best option as u are newbie might be to get a stock broker . |
