Globacom's support for the nation's entertainment industry was hugely rewarded at the 12th edition of The Headies Awards, where the company won the Power Brand Support Award for its contribution to the development of the music industry in Nigeria.

The Headies Award, generally regarded as African equivalent of the American Grammy Awards, was inaugurated 12 years ago to reward the Nigeria's entertainment icons, who have, through their individual efforts, contributed to the growth of Nigeria's entertainment industry.
