The law against posession of weapons is meant for Southerners. It does not apply in North, never has.

Before gun became the weapon of choice a Southerner will get arrested if caught in public with dagger in his posession. Whereas it was viewed as a necessity and a cultural accessory for malam.

Abi i lie? grin

We did not demand equality to accessorise with dagger back then. It is now accepted as a default right for the northerner to be equipped with weapon. They say they have done it for thousands of years and is part of their culture, doesnt matter if its dagger, gun or bomb.

According to Femi Falana, SAN, when the west toppled Gaddafi, Jonathan was advised to buy up the arms in Libya because the heavily equipped Libyan armoury became porous, but Jonathan ignored the advice. Now, the arms got into the hands of ordinary people in Libya, they started selling them.

Mr Falana said that most of the weapons that Libya had then ended up in northern Nigeria through the ISIL, Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram cooperation. And that there's heavy weapons in the possession of non-state actors in northern Nigeria.

This pix is a typical example of what Mr. Falana talked about.

We all may not know but Nigeria is in trouble

I thought they said that the main threat in Nigeria is IPOB that has no guns?

IPOB with no gun is the terrorist group and the men who are using these guns to terrorist and kill people everyday are just criminals?

These bandits will eventually make to Nigerians get sense.

The minority are being disarmed and the other are roaming and videoing their guns.

The cameraman is a member of the fulani bandits. He is their mediaman.

Bokoharam also had a media unit.

You are still seeing machette? That means you live in good part of Nigeria. Other parts of Nigeria have long 'upgraded'

I think you have a problem with understanding English because it is apparent you cannot differentiate between someone speaking for himself from someone quoting another
