England has unveiled it's 23-man squad that would be doing battle at the FIFA World cup in June as Arsenal's Jack Wilshere is one of the big names to miss out.

The announcement was made via a creative video where the names of the invited players were announced by different people cutting across different communities in England.

Reports in the media earlier in the week suggested that Jack Wilshere had been informed by the coach, Gareth Southgate that he wouldn't be making the trip to Russia.

Experienced goalkeeper, Joe Hart also failed to make the team with the coach preferring Jack Butland, Nick Pope and Jordan Pickford.

Meanwhile, Liverpool's young sensation, Alexander Arnold has been rewarded for his great form this season with a call-up to the squad.

There is also a place for Reuben Loftus cheek with Manchester United's attacking duo, Jese Lingard and Marcus Rashford making the team.

23-Man Squad: Alexander-Arnold, Butland, Cahill, Dele, Delph, Dier, Henderson, Jones, Kane, Lingard, Loftus-Cheek, Maguire, Pickford, Pope, Rashford, Rose, Sterling, Stones, Trippier, Vardy, Walker, Welbeck, Young.
