After a disastrous traditional engagement ceremony in Lagos, Nonso's family and Deardre's aristocratic British family reluctantly agree to a wedding in Dubai.

The couple took a vow of chastity and are looking forward to a ground -breaking first night together as a married couple. Between matchmaking attempts on the bridal train, a wedding planner on a mission to succeed, the unruly behaviour of some ‘village’ guests much to Tinuade’s horror, Dunni's uncertainty about her new husband's faithfulness during the time of their courtship, amidst colourful aso-ebi, eclectic music, small chops, and souvenir drama, we begin to wonder whether Dunni and Dozie will get through their wedding reception unscathed.

The film tells a story about the adventures of a newly engaged couple in their relatives residence outside Nigeria, and how the secrets of their host led to the eventual breakup of their union amidst the culture shock of the new country and living with upper-class citizens. Though a huge box office success, breaking the record set by 30 Days in Atlanta for the highest-grossing Nigerian film , it received mainly mixed to negative reviews from critics.

30 Days in Atlanta is a 2014 Nigerian romantic comedy film produced by Ayo Makun and directed by Robert Peters .[2] The film was shot on location in Lagos and Atlanta. It premiered on 31 October 2014. [3] It was declared the highest grossing film of all time in Nigerian cinemas in 2015, [4][5][6][7] although the film was met with mixed to negative critical reception.

Fifty captures few pivotal days of four women at the pinnacle of their careers. Tola, Elizabeth, Maria and Kate are four friends forced at midlife to take inventory at their personal lives, while juggling career and family against the backdrops of the neighbourhoods of Lagos .
Tola is a reality TV star whose marriage to lawyer Kunle never stood a chance thanks to an invidious family secret. Elizabeth is a celebrated obstetrician whose penchant for younger men has estranged her from her daughter. Maria, a forty nine-year old has an affair with a married man that results in an unexpected pregnancy and Kate's battle with a life-threatening illness has plugged her into religious obsession.

The film goes against the view that straight men and women can't just be friends. It brings this true by telling the story of Chucks ( Blossom Chukwujekwu ) nicknamed by his friends as the Terminator, an ardent player with ladies, whose quest to proving this law to his friends brings him three woman he must re-seduce: Ify (Ufuoma McDermott), Tomi and Ejiro (Omoni Oboli), whose lives have drastically changed. And this must be done within 21 days. This challenge of their various new status makes his quest to win the bet more and more insurmountable as he tries to prove the immortality of the long age law: Okafor’s Law.

Set six years after the civil war , a young officer from the Middle Belt gets into a romantic relationship with an O-level student from the
South-eastern region. However, their relationship is strained by constant military postings. The soldier gets accused of being involved in the 1976 unsuccessful military coup and assassination of General Murtala Mohammed , and the heavily pregnant wife, gets entangled in an emotional dilemma.
The historical account in ' 76 went through a seven-month approval period at the Nigerian Military before filming started. The film which is set in the '70s was shot in Ibadan , Oyo.[4][5] The film has been in production for about five years.
