BITSWORKS Nigeria is a multi-discipline construction company comprising of architects, builders, civil engineers and interior designers.

We currently have a brief for a client to construct a church auditorium using steel stanchions as the framework and blockworks for the facade carcass.

There is an existing church auditorium building on the land and this will be demolished once the new auditorium is completed.

We will share the floor plan, elevations and 3D views once we have permission from the client.

Size of land - 1075.2sqm
Total area of building - 416.0sqm
Estimated budget for construction - currently unknown
PROJECT timeline - 6 months

We have started with the foundation work which is a pile foundation and work is moving at a steady pace. We will be casting the suspended german floor soon. Reinforcements work is ongoing on site.

Yes sir, one way trip. Its a suspended floor slab so it removes the backfilling stage. Plus and minus variable cost of backfilling against cost of losing the woods.

However, the pile points are 40 in all with 24 pile cap and we used percussion machine with casing. It took about 30 days to complete the boring, casting of pile points, pile caps and tie-beam.

Casting of the suspended german floor/oversite concrete. We had dumped 2 trips of 30 tons granite and 4 trips of 20 tons sharp sand. The thickness of the slab is 6inches ( 150mm ) and the mix ratio is 1:2:4.
