Once upon a time we scourged
At nights our skins gushing out sweat
Sabotage of Power
Diesel sellers everywhere
An estate of darkness
Mosquitos massively inhabited
The female anopheles species
Plasmodium in our blood stream


Making us feel dizzy
Their sirens blaring to scupper our rest
We applaud in attempt to kill
Boredom of boredom
Frustration and mumbling
Enough is enough!
But who will go for us?
Yes I will, send me
But first with emails to God
Complaints at the Customer care
Hairdryers at the technical crew
The Manager must hear this


Better and better it got
Petrol dealers began to leave
Their pockets in recession
Circumstance began to change
The poles no longer fainting
Wires not making suspicious sparks


Electricity restored
Power like never before
Boredom now seldom
Tranquilty in sleep
Someone once said it could never be
So hard to believe
Too good to be real
Blessed be your name
The God that answereth by Electricity.
