Adekunle Jimoh Wasiu, professionally known as Idowest, a Nigerian recording artiste, rapper and songwriter.

He was born on November 2, 1992 in Lagos Island, Lagos state, where he was also brought up.
Idowest as an ambitious dream chaser started from a local music gang known as MAFIA Gang and the gang happens to be one the best and popular gangs in Lagos Island.

However, Idowest started his carrier from local performances and couple singles and featured tracks, G Level, owanle, Baller freestyle, ABRACADABRA Ft C Black, Dj Niyor And Abram Soul, Jo Gelede Ft Dizzy K Alaga Konga, Eko Ft Danagog and many more.
Idowest is a versatile artiste that can conveniently flow on various music genres such as mix of Hip Hop, RnB, Rap, and House Music.

He started his education in Lagos Island and finished his secondary school education in Isale Eko Grammar school, Oroyinyin Lagos Island.
In just two years back, Idowest has been signed to three labels, on June 15th, 2017 he was signed to P4 Music, Dammy krane revived his label, WordStar Inc and on December 15 2017, he announced his first signing in the person of Idowest.

Recently, Davido signed Idowest to Davido Music Worldwide (DMW)

Idowest came into limelight after his popular hit song “shepeteri” Featuring Slimcase which was nominated in 2018 the headies award, He has been to international tours for live performance. Also, He has featured with top Nigeria hip hop music stars Olamide, Dammy Krane, Jaywon and many more.

Just recently Davido signed Idowest to his record Label Music World wide (DMW). This has been one his greatest achievements to idowest.
