Liverpool have decided to acknowledge Philippe Coutinho's contribution to the club's Champions League campaign.


During the first half of the season, Coutinho provided five goals and two assists from five outings before signing for Barcelona in January.

UEFA have stated that the decision whether to award a former player a medal from the final is at the discretion of the club, and Liverpool have responded by agreeing to recognise the playmaker's performances between September and December.
