There's power in the tongue. You ppl should stop professing negative words. It affects you all. From the president to the last man.

As for me and my family, we are not criminals. As evil, starvation, pestilence, horror comes day and night, myself and my family with everyone with a positive mind, will not fall into the hands.

It steal beats me how people have no idea the consequences such songs have on Nigeria. and I ask so after the video and song how does it solve the problems? We've had many musicians singing about Nigerian situation for decades what really has it changed?

He conveniently forgot to add in the song that 'This is Nigeria' where people sing rubbish and get endorsements meanwhile hardworking scientists, teachers, doctors etc never get what they deserve.

lived abroad for years and the truth is most people in the world have never been to Nigeria and do not have an inkling what Nigeria is like the only idea they have about Nigeria is what we Nigerians tell them or portray in videos or is portrayed in the news. So when you make videos like this it beats me really what one hopes to achieve you only make yourself a laughing stock. He made a video and showed every thing negative about his country but forgot to talk about the positives that made it even possible for his name to be heard or known and which he feeds off from daily how amazing is that?

Well at the end of the day everyone is entitled to their opinion right so case rested...

The original song (This is America) which falz remade, which was sang by childish gambino criticized the American society. There are versions criticizing Canada and Jamaica titled "This is Canada" and "This is Jamaica" respectively. There is completely nothing wrong with the song.

I agree but there are somethings that other countries get away with that Nigerians can never get away with. Falz for one should know what I am talking about. Everyone knows what happens in America but does it stop them from dreaming to go there? Nigeria already has a terrible image out there some perceptions are absolutely true others are totally misconstrued did he have to make it worse? you know in this life you need to make your choices really carefully everyone is jumping to make a 'This is ..." video doesn't mean you must make one. when you live in Nigeria it is easy to not give a damn about it but when you don't and you are having to explain yourself constantly to people there is nothing funny about it because it just makes it worse.

Rachelsblog:
Comedian Ali Baba has reacted to Falz New Video #This is Nigeria, which has caused lots of Controversies on the Internet, Even Diddy had reacted to it, The Veteran Comedian in a Post he made on his page said Yahoo boys has spoilt the business for the legit ones, According to him, the people they have swindled now thinks we are all rogues, He shared a photo an captioned:

“No truer word has ever been said. This is a reflection of how deteriorated our societal thought process has degenerated. Anyone who has made it is a thief. People no longer believe anyone made it from hard work. As for the police, they don’t treat anyone as innocent. Everyone suspects everyone. In the eyes of the people who our Yahoo boys have swindled… we are all rogues.

What of the foreign investor that wants to bring business here, but has to bribe to do that business? Ask the taxi driver who refuses to give a Gwagon driver way… he will tell you the owner stole to buy it. What of food meant for IDP camps? Stolen. Votes nko? Stolen. To sign budget… you must settle. To get promoted in civil service, you must settle. Even to pass exam you must use spreadsheet.

To get a contract nko? People are arrested off the streets and thrown into jail like they are criminals. SARS leave scars. No one stands up for the innocent. Does that not mean we are all criminals? People who do legit businesses don’t succeed because the criminals will truncate all pure business moves.

And life continues… Do you really think there are people who don’t see Nigerians as criminals Check this out. Are all herdsmen bad? No. But in the spate of the last herdsmen attacks… what will your comments be about herdsman? Are all politician thieves? Are all policemen corrupt? Are all the girls you see at night on the street runs girls?… we need to change. That video is a reawakening”

There are good Nigerians but truth be told an average Nigerian has criminality in his/her blood waiting for the right atmosphere to manifest.

It's not a Nigerian thing, it's human nature. It's the same in every clime. What others have simply succeeded in doing is to ensure that "right atmosphere" hardly ever comes.

Some of us knew that what the president said was correct but he shouldn't have made such statement publicly. Despite the fact he failed woefully in achieving his campaign promises.

Typical ostritch attitude.

other Nigerian musicians should know that music is not about gathering ladies together to show their breast and bum, but about making real sense.
