Job Title: Engineering Technician

Location: Sagamu

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assists the engineering shift team lead and maintenance engineer in solving technical problems
• Carries out repairs as required on all mechanical and electrical appliances
• Monitors all electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair
• Read dials and meters to determine amperage, voltage, electrical output and input at specific operating temperature to analyse parts performance
• Operates drill press, grinders, engine lathe, or other machines to modify parts tested or to fabricate experimental parts for testing
• Test equipment, using test devices attached to generator, voltage regulator, or other electrical parts, such as generators or spark plugs
• Carries out all scheduled maintenance and update daily monitoring record
• Provides technical support to customers and employees.
• Ensures that all safety procedures are observed at the engineering workshop.

Qualification / Experience
OND in engineering or Technician/ Trade test certificate
Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience as an Engineering Technician or similar role
