I want to start developing mobile applications and I'm considering React Native. I don't have a good experience with android studio(my system is 4 gb ram and I don't know why it can't still cope with it).

I have seen various tutorials online to get started. Most of them require download several packages to get started, one even requires installing python 2.

I want to know the simplest way for a beginner to get started (I understand only Javascript).

Please, is android studio still neccesary. Virtually all the tutorials require installing it.

You don't need Android Studio for React Native development, all you need is to have the Android SDK installed on your system. I do React Native development with Visual Studio Code and thats enough for me

There's even an option where you don't need have the Android SDK. You could use the create react native app. This allows you develop for both Android and IOS without their respective packages. Can you guys give am explanation on how to really setup react native on my windows PC? It's really not that easy, pls
