Osun Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, said the state Government is working with the Security Agencies to secure the release of Methodist priest, Kayode Akande and two others churuch leaders ,who were kidnapped along the Iwo-Osogbo Road.

The Governor via his Twitter handle on Monday said security remains the topmost priority of the state Government.

“I have just been briefed about the kidnap of Reverend Kayode Akande and 2 others. The State government is working very closely with security operatives to ensure the safe and speedy return of the victims.

“Osun is a peaceful state and acts such as this would be met with the greatest form of resistance. Please be rest assured that security remains the topmost priority of the state government.”
