A manufacturing company located in Lagos State is in need of a Sales Supervisor
Job Description for Sales Supervisor

1. Oversee sales activities aimed at increasing sales.
2. Manage all sales staff in the region
3. Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support
4. Organize and coordinate activities of sales representatives
5. Receive and report on all sales leads to Sales Manager
6. Supervise sales representatives and Canvassers
7. Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance
8. Assist sales representatives and team to meet and exceed goals
9. Implement strategies to sell products or services.
10. Develop new territories
11. Build new customer base to maximize sales.
12. Retain existing customers by providing prompt customer services.
13. Supervise field marketing and sales force.
14. Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
15. Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on buying trends
16. Identify new markets and business opportunities
17. Feedback to the management on competitors’ activities, market situations and customer’s complaint.
18. Work with the Sales Manager to implement the company’s policies and goals.

Requirements
• B.Sc/HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related discipline.
• Supervisory and management experience
• Large team handling capability
• Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position
• MUST have worked in a reputable FMCG for minimum of 3 years consecutively
• Determination and the drive to work towards targets.
• Must be able to drive and possess a valid driver’s license.

Post: Sales Manager

1. Develop periodic (Annual, Biannual, Quarterly, Monthly) sales plan to achieve the company’s sales objectives.
2. Develop SMART nationwide strategies for executing proposed sales plan.
3. Implementation of sales plans and strategies to meet set objective
4. Responsible for managing the sales team for optimum sales performance - assign sales territories, market routes, set regional targets, coach/train/develop sales team to prepare proposals, presentations, prospecting calls, appointments.
5. Periodic performance review of sales team.
6. Prepare and develop action plans for sales leads, prospects, and penetrating new markets.
7. Provide timely feedback and reports to senior management regarding Fastizer’s sales performance.
8. Maintain customer relationships to solve problems and ensure client satisfaction.
9. Maintain proper product mix and protect the companies interest against concentration risk and other market risks
10. Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Sales Executives.
11. Negotiate and manage sales vendor contracts.
12. Keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and new opportunities.
13. Establishes an environment and foundation for future sales growth by focusing on secondary sales.
14. Work with other managers to implement the company’s policies and goals.

Requirements
