Northeast lyrical giant, Martino El-casino based in Adamawa is an old timer in the struggle that took to a social media post on a true and deep touching story on Taraba's own Legendary Music Act. And this is what he has to say:
"Before entertainment became a thing of internet mediocrity he was there and I'm glad he is still on top of his grind.
These pictures of Charlee Nathan performing during this year's democracy day celebration in Taraba State inspired me a lot. He has been hustling relentlessly despite all the adversaries he faced in life.
Mockery, rejection, betrayal, health issues, being underrated and all the fake people that came and left his life couldn't weigh him down.
I appreciate the people of Taraba State for still acknowledging the fact that "The Hausarabian" is the mouthpiece of the youth. I wish government and well meaning individuals(friends, family, etc.) will show this man the support he needs so he can achieve his dream of having youths on his pay role.
If our people appreciate our arts like they do when they invite other acts from outside, the younger entertainers will have hope of achieving their dreams and the society will be a better place.
Hamma Charlie, the sky is your stepping stone. I think you are the reason why the government will celebrate democracy day twice this year and I hope they reward you more than they did the first time.
