The management and advisory board of Mckinggs Media, proud host of the Trek series, have officially announced that the 2018 edition of the delightful Face of Trek Africa (FOTA 2018) has been scheduled for Sunday 22ND July, 2018 at the LCCI, and the Lagos audition slated for Friday 29th of June at Ozzy Records, 22 Sule Abuka street, Opebi, Ikeja. 10am prompt.

The third edition of the continental enterprising beauty pageant aims at discovering, building and empowering African women by selecting potential female ambassadors of Trek Africa, who would be contesting in the prestigious pageant. The winners would then use their position to champion positive cause across the continent.

Strongly expected that this programme will not just be a platform to showcase the rich African beauty but will also provide a platform for discussion on how the African woman can assume her deserved role in leadership and motherland Africa.

The 2018 Special guests speakers and panelists for the occasion includes eminent personalities whose lives and works have impacted the society positively, especially when it comes to advocacy and empowerment. They include: Guest Speakers and panelists are; H/E. Mrs. Toyin Saraki (Wife of the Senate President and Founder, Wellbeing Foundation Africa), H/E. Mrs Bolanle Ambode (Wife of the Governor, Lagos State), H/E. Mrs. Fatima Boi (Wife of the President, Sierra Leone), H/E. Mrs. Samira Bawumia (Wife of the Vice President, Ghana), H/E. Dr. Olusegun Mimiko (Former Governor, Ondo State), H/E. Dr. Zainab Bagudu (Wife of the Governor, Kebbi State and Founder, Medicaid Cancer Foundation), H/E. MBQA means Most Beautiful Queen Abia State
Its main objective is to unify or rather solidify the unity Abia State.
MBQA, Most Beautiful Queen Abia State, as the name implies is indeed a name to reckon with. The project is going to be annual event to be hosted in Abia state (International Conference Center Umuahia) every 2 years to commensurate the display of the strength, beauty, dignity, unity & love, culture, tourism amongst the communities of the state. At every season each winner, (female) that will be bold, strong & intelligent between the ages of 18- 45 years will represent the state at an upcoming Big Brother Nigeria, OF ANY SEASONS. They will contest in an ultimate quest with different challenges, mission & lots more.
After the contest any contestant that emerge winner will be declared the Most Beautiful Queen of Abia State and will uphold the office till the next season which is 2 years. Thus, the winner will be given cash price of #500,000, an official car and AN ENDORSEMENT DEAL WITH TOP COMPANIES IN NIGERIA, while the first runner up will get a sum of #300,000.
