Hello Fellow Nairalanders, I am about started a 1000 birds poultry. I will need the services of someone that has started and managed a poultry outrightly. I like to know for a start, the number of bags of feeds these birds consume from the day of incubation till the day/duration of first production of eggs. I want to write a blueprint and plan my finances so please help out if you have these information. I intend on rearing 1000 golden layers for egg production. I wish to know the feed consumption of these birds, from the day i buy them from the incubation center till the week they start laying eggs. If i get a reasonable production manual and execution plan, i'll be willing to work with such a farm/poultry management consultant to manage my poultry for me.
