JOB TITLE: PROJECT ENGINEER (PLANNING/ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENTATION)

JOB BRIEF
• Evaluation/Assessment of major project electrical & instrumentation engineering designs to ensure completeness. Review of power system analysis and power systems components specifications.
• Review of projects electrical & instrumentation work scope, design basis, design calculations, drawings and supporting documentation. Provide electrical design and construction support on projects. Preparation of electrical load, load flow and short circuit calculations.
• Clear understanding and application of relevant technical codes and standards (ANSI, ASME, API etc.) for all engineering deliverables.
• Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.
• Ensures that all site works are done according to all applicable quality standards.
• Proactively identifies and addresses safety issues as they arise throughout a project from scoping to commissioning.

QUALIFICATION
• B.sc/B. Tech Engineering (Electrical)
• Project Management Professional Certification & Relevant professional/industry certifications.
6-8 years of work experience (Minimum of 4 years in Oil & Gas infrastructure).
