The VAR was at it again as it denies Brazil of having a penalty. But the samba boys was victorious at the last.

To whom much is given, much Is also expected. The samba boys Brazil will hope to come back stronger from their draw against Switzerland as they play Costa Rica in the second match of GroupE in the zenit Saint Petersburg Stadium.

Costa Rica on the other hand would hope to bounce back from their loss against Serbia and also being the underdog in this match, they would try to surprise the World because Russia indeed has been full of surprises.

Costa Rica came close to scoring in the 12th minute as celso Borges strike went just past the Right side of the post.

Neymar missed a vital chance for Brazil in the 26th minute as he received a through ball from coutinho , But Costa Rica's Goalkeeper keylor Navas was quick to react So as to stop the danger.

The game ended 0-0 in the first half. Lot of reactions from football lovers as they keep wondering if there won't be another upset today judging from the way the first half had been, as both teams had no shot on target.

Double chance for Brazil few minutes into the second half as Gabriel Jesus header struck the bar and countinho's strike was blocked both attempts occurred in the 48th and 49th minute consecutively.

Brazil continue to press Costa Rica as Neymar's 56th minute attempt was saved by the fingertips of Keylor Navas.

Keylor Navas continues to prove difficult as coutinho's 57th minute attempt was no problem for him. Brazil continue to press further hoping to break the deadlock soon.

Neymar missed a vital chance in the 71th minute as his attempt went slightly beside the goalpost. Lots of reactions from Brazilian fans as they await a breakthrough.

Brazil in the 78th minute Was awarded at first a penalty by the referee as Neymar's shirt was slightly pulled in the box by Costa Rica's Ginacarlo Gonzaleswhich led to him falling down but after the VAR was consulted it was discovered that there was pretence in the way he fell which led to the VAR denying Brazil of that penalty.

At last Brazil got their miracle goal as Phillipe coutinho was to the rescue in the 91st minute. There was so much joy in the hearts of Brazilians, that even the coach fell down while wanting to celebrate.

Neymar scores the second in the 90+6 minutes of the game which was assisted by Douglas Costa to finally seal the game
The goal led to Neymar crying after that goal due to much frustration he suffered in the game.

The game ended 2-0 as Brazil looks confident of knockout stage spot.
