Brazil Star Neymar was pictured crying after his country defeated Costa Rica 2-0 this afternoon.

The PSG forward scored late on in the 2-0 win, but also had a penalty decision overturned after a VAR Review.

The win sends Brazil top of the group and former Barcelona man just couldn't hide his emotions .

Neymar has since revealed on Instagram the real reason for his tears, saying: "The cry is of joy, of overcoming, of clawing and willing to win.

"In my life things have never been easy, [it] would not be right now!!!

"The dream continues, not [the] dream... [the] PURPOSE!”
