Edible oil (also called cooking oil) basically refers to any plant, animal, or synthetic oil used in frying, baking, and other types of cooking. There are several types of Edible oils from plant sources such as coconut oil, olive oil, groundnut oil, palm oil, soybean oil, canola oil (rapeseed oil), corn oil, peanut oil etc. Edible oil consumption is increasing year after year due to increase in population and improvement in human economic life and these days people are starting to pay attention to the type of oil they consume considering the increase in chemically refined oil which is unfit for human consumption.

Nigeria currently consumes 2.4 million MT of edible oil, but domestically produces only about 1.4 million MT, most of which is Palm Oil (1 million MT). Because of this huge deficit, there are huge opportunities for making huge profits from the production and sale of edible oil in Nigeria.

Why a Mini Oil Mill?

Typically equipments used in large scale oil mills include roaster, crusher, expeller filet press and screw conveyors with output ranging from 1-20 ton per day. The investment and space required typically discourages small scale oil millers and this is why Okims Investments has now introduced a Mini Oil Press for Small Scale Commercial/Home Use which is easy to operate, install commission and maintain. Unlike large scale oil mills with huge capacities mini oil mill means small capacity oil processing plant which caters to smaller communities.

The mini type oil processing line can process many varieties of oil seeds, such as groundnut, coconut, moringa, sesame, olive, sunflower, soyabean etc. The mini mill needs very little investment but high returns! It is really your ideal choice to start your oil making business.

Main Equipment of Mini Oil Mills

Different oil processing equipment will be used according to the seeds of different plants that you are going to process. However, the oil press machine is the important part in the complete oil production plant, no matter what raw material. If you are making peanut oil, then you are able to select the peanut sheller, whereas if you are making cotton seed oil, you should keep the disc hull in mind. Just choose your material, tell us your production capacity, trust our equipment and expertise, we will customize a production line that meets your oil making needs!

Mini oil mill usually combines together a series oil processing equipment such as screw elevator, screw oil press, seed cleaning machine, filter press to realize continuous oil extraction. The small pressing unit has many advantages, for example, less land space, little investment, labor savings and wider application for vegetable seeds and nuts.

Mini Oil Mill is a full set oil processing factory with small capacity. Unlike the large-scale oil mill plant, the mini oil mill is likely to enter the local market and provide investors with more possibilities to step into the vegetable oil processing business.
