Question About Boilers by abescom: 1:23pm On Jun 26, 2018
Hi all, I need you help. I am trying to reach 200 boilers from July till December and have some questions.

1. Do you think 1500 is good enough for each boiler to maturity?

2. Which is the best recommended feed for maximum result?

3. Will 10 bags of feed be enough for 200 birds for one month?

4. Any other advise you have for me.

This is my first try and it will be managed by someone experienced but I want to have as much information as I need in order not to be ripped off.

Why do you want to raise broilers for 6 months? You won't make any profit if you do that. Maximum is 12 weeks and that is for celebration period ONLY.

If u raise them for a long period of time u will make no profit because most of ur money will be spent on feeding..so it is more preferably3- 4month maximumly

1. Do you think 1500 is good enough for each boiler to maturity?
Yes

2. Which is the best recommended feed for maximum result?
Milled feed using kbc concentrate or equivalent or Chikun feed

3. Will 10 bags of feed be enough for 200 birds for one month?
Estimate about 12-16 bags

4. Any other advise you have for me.
Raise for maximum of 10 weeks and I can guide you on pushing to a target of even 4kg average using feed addictives and prevention in place of curative measures.

Thanks for this bro. But I think you misunderstood question number 3. The 10 bags is just for the first 4 weeks. I am not saying that's what I will spend till maturity.

Or are you still insisting the first one month will require 40-48 bags?

I spoke to you in the afternoon.

I will send you an email.

You think 1500 per bird is not too much for 10 weeks?

ten bags will be enough for 100 broilers for 8 weeks.since u are just starting, why not start small?

I will advice u start with 50 -100 birds as someone suggested. please July is too early, If u target December , start late September. meanwhile raising a broiler for 12weeks takes more Dan 1500.. be guided correctly, am a learner too
