Their talent discovery is superb and these talents are nurtured to become world class players. Same cannot be said if Nigeria where the system doesn’t help kids discover and nurture their talents. That’s the main reason why the players can’t help but lie about their age. If the system helps youth development, we will easily produce world class players on a regular!

Personally I am not a fan of conspiracy theories but I can't help but notice double standards in some of the matches, not just the Nigeria vs Argentina game.

I still wonder why Nigerians did not notice & challenge the high boot tackle in the 18 yard box on Iheanacho. If I may ask do you think it would have been negligible if it was Balogun that tackled Aguero in similar manner?

I've come to realize that bodies such as FIFA, UEFA etc are profit making bodies thus there's bound to be some kind of foul play along the line, such as the preference for some so-called "big & better" teams to go as far as possible in competitions, even if to keep the sponsors happy due to sustained fan interest. Else how does one explain certain scenarios being punished in a game & ignored in another?
