i have noted with a sense of dismay the gradual death of the number 10 position in the football game. i have watched stars like rui costa, zidane, okocha, who were pure creative midfielders come and go, now, what we have is "HOLDING MIDFIELDER" role  (an euphemism for sweeper!!!!OOOO how the game has changed, no thanks to the premier league  |

The Game is becoming more physical, Apart from that most teams now favour 4-3-3 and its variations which causes congestions in the midfield espcially in the advance playmaker role where most teams will field 2 holding midfielders. |
