While the pairing of a high profile footballer with a stunning model or actress has become almost cliche in its regularity, it comes as a surprise to spot footballers who don’t have girlfriends. Sure, they spend a fair amount of time on the road, but they are also recognizable public figures whose fame and wealth make them rather eligible.

5. Diego Costa

Costa’s ex-girlfriend accused him of cheating on her with her own sister and best friend. His ex-model girlfriend, Michele Zouanne, dumped him after finding him guilty with evidence in 2016. The Spaniard has been single since then.

4. Sadio Mane

Sadio Mane has managed to keep his private life well under wraps. It’s hard to find out whether the Liverpool star has a girlfriend or not. He usually shows up at public events alone and the only the family he ever mentions are his relatives living in Senegal.

Rumours claim that he is in love with a beautiful girl called Melissa Reddy. But from what we see, Senegal talisman has been single for a while.

3. Kylian Mbappe

All eyes are on 19-year-old soccer player Kylian Mbappe after he helped France win over Argentina during the quarterfinals of the 2018 World Cup. The French star has gained attention from miss France 2017, Alicia Aylies, who was in the crowd to cheer him on.

Mbappe is too busy building his career, and as he still lives with his mom, he might be too young to have a girlfriend; something that might change anytime from now.


2. Romelu Lukaku

Back in the 2014 summer, Romelu Lukaku enjoyed a relaxing holiday with his then girlfriend Julia Vandenweghe after Belgium’s World Cup campaign. He has been single since 2015.

Back then, the 25-year-old striker was pictured on social media with his former partner on a break after helping his country reach the quarter-finals in Brazil, where they were beaten 1-0 by Argentina. With the hungry striker doing miracles, let’s hope he gets another soul to help him relax.

The humble France midfielder is single and has had no official girlfriend before. Despite his fame, N’Golo has not talked about his personal life. Currently, focussing on football career goal is everything for Kante.

Kante seems too introvert, and somehow he may need a girlfriend to help him get to be somehow social and less shy.
