I`ve found myself wanting to edit PDFs occasionally but I give up in frustration because I don’t have the standard versions of Adobe Acrobat and Foxit Reader (my two favourite software as far as PDF is concerned) which I`m sure many don’t have too . My basic need is just to view PDF so I only have the free PDF viewer option and not the $15 per month for the standard versions which is understandable because the need to edit PDFs comes only once in two or three months or so. In the few times I`ve found myself trying to edit the PDFs I`ve found three wonderful ways to edit PDFs document and one of these ways will just help you not get frustrated the next time you need to edit you PDF document.
1. GET THE STANDARD VERSION- If you are not a one-off PDF editor like me, if you always have to edit PDFs from time to time just get the standard version, you can always get all you want from it. The prices for the standard version start from $15 per month. There is no permanent licence for editing PDFs though.
2. CORRECT ERRORS IN TEXT USING POLY LINES: I basically corrected a two-page document filled with errors this way. I`ll explain using Foxit Reader though, I couldn`t find polylines on Adobe Acrobat.
STEP 1: After you must have opened your PDF file with Foxit Reader, click on the “comment” tab at the top of the page.
STEP 2: Navigate to select polyline. You`ll find it in the drawing tab.
STEP 3: Use your poly line to completely block out the text you wish to correct.

STEP 4: Change your poly line to your background colour by right clicking your polyline and navigate to “properties” and change the colour at the appearance tab. Now you should have an empty text space.
STEP 5: Now select typewriter on the ribbon and type in the new text. You can edit it to the appropriate style at the top left corner. Drag it to fit in properly.
3. USE ONLINE PDF EDITING SITES: This is pretty much the easiest way. All you need do is the just upload your PDF document and that`s it! It becomes editable. There was a time It didn’t work the way I wanted though, it was showing only the table but not the text in the document so I just converted it to word document from the site, edited it and converted it back. It caused me no pain and took me no time. This is the site I used https://smallpdf.com/. Great site! It does everything PDF. You can also try https://www.pdfescape.com/windows/, I came across it too. It should be a wonderful site I guess.
