Mechatronics Engineers/technicians design, build, maintain and repair automated equipment, and also program equipment control systems.
A mechatronics Engineer/technicians are able to meet a variety of needs within industry.
• They carry out mechanical maintenance and equipment building.
• They also deal with equipment for information gathering, components (sensors) and regulating units.
• Mechatronics technicians install, set-up, repair and adjust machine components and manage equipment control systems, including their programming.

Our mechatronics program runs for a period of one year. Trainees will be trained intensively both theoretically and practically. Some of the course modules include:
• Introduction to mechatronics engineering
• Electrical
• Sensors, actuators and control systems
• Robotics and intelligent Systems
• Industrial Automation
• Mechatronics system designing
• Advanced mechatronics system troubleshooting techniques, maintenance and commissioning

The trainees will undertake A ONE-MONTH INDUSTRIAL ATTACHMENT at the end of every three months to expose them to live field experiences.
