1. SOLUTION DEVELOPER (OFFICER) (MED001)

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Define and develop application code according to business needs
• Ensures proper documentation of every aspect of application implementations including setup and maintain records, software updates, and changes to the applications.
• Ensure all development conforms to standard system development life cycle plan in line with agile methodologies and principles.
• Drive continuous improvements
• Participate in test planning and execution.
• Understand and maintain existing windows/web applications.
• Assist in application support for existing applications.
• Application documentation
• Develop and produce user stories
• Check-in code into source control
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
• Comply with project plans and industry standards
• Ensure software is updated with latest features
• Design User interfaces that improve user experience for both existing and new applications.
• Participate in requirements review sessions
• Engage external Developers during integration.

Required Skills and Competencies
• A good university degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Computer Engineering with a least 2 years cognate experience in system development.
• Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming
• Good understanding of programming languages (VB , C# & Java)
• Knowledgeable in Systems Network
• Have strong knowledge of relational database (SQL& Oracle e.t.c)
• Good Understanding of web technologies css, node, javascripts or javascript framework such as angular

2. CORE INFRASTRUCTURE & MESSAGING (OFFICER) (MED002)

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Management of the enterprise domain (Users & Systems)
• Administration of Email communications & Antivirus Servers
• Management and deployment of Microsoft Windows patches
• Administration of all collaboration platforms including Video Conference systems and LYNC communications
• Administration of all servers and storage area network (SAN)
• Deployment of Systems to users across the group
• Support the Helpdesk/Service Desk & Regional IT Support functions
• Management/Deployment of Hardware (Printers, Scanners, Phones, etc.)
• Management/Administration of Internet Proxy Services
• Procurement of IT Hardware (Excluding Networking & Security Devices)
• Management of Data Center (liaising with 3rd party service vendors)
• Zero downtime of primary and Disaster Recovery Site
• Successful data replication and implementation of Disaster Recovery Site
• Implementation and maintenance of effective backup and restore operations

Required Skills and Competencies
• A good university degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent with a least 1-3 years cognate experience in IT with certification in Microsoft Windows administration.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining all manners of server hardware and associated network equipment including FC, iSCSI, RAID, SAN, DAS, SDDC, topology;
• Experience with server performance tuning and monitoring tools;
• Adequate knowledge of Inverters, batteries and battery technologies and management.
• Experience with Windows Replication, Backup and Recovery;
• Knowledge of Applications functionality and administration.

3. ENTERPRISE APPLICATION AND DATABASE (OFFICER) (MED003)

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Manages the Applications and application Database (MS SQL Server and Oracle) for efficient performance and data integrity.
• Collaborate with both Internal and External Soluti

on Providers in any area where there might be need to access any of the Database or garner data from the Database in building other applications.
• Provides support to Internal customers by generating requested Reports and mining data to solve Business Problems or aid Business decisions.
• Keeps proper documentation of application set-up procedures; maintaining and updating of IT documentation (software implementation issues, plan deliverables and user manuals).
• Facilitates the Training of Users and development of training materials to bridge knowledge gaps
• Collaborate with solution providers to ensure that application implementation is carried out in accordance with predefined standards and quality policies and in line with user requirements.
• Document and prepare periodic report on the events/activities, deliverables, issues and problems during IT project implementation.
• Performs routine health checks and monitors the performance of IT support services for business application.
• Ensures the building of sound relationship with customers and the delivery of a quick and quality services provision to the end users.
• New Applications developments consultant and testing expert.

• Weekly/Daily application testing and sending of status updates to the relevant App Managers.

Required Skills and Competencies
• A good university degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Computer Engineering with a least 1-3 years cognate experience in system development and Database administration.
• Good understanding of programming languages (PLSQL)
• Knowledgeable in Systems Network
• Have strong knowledge of relational database (SQL& Oracle e.t.c)
• Good Knowledge of scripting
