This thread is created for all Computer Teachers (IT Instructors) in Nursary, Primary, Secondary and Post Secondary Institutions. We should all meet here and discuss relevant issues pertaining to our career.

What professional bodies do you belong?
Why do you belong there?
Which certifications do you have or recommend?
How much (range) salary do you earn? and so on.

It will help us all, so that someone will not be teaching and earning peanuts, thereby undermining the computing profession.

Which competitions exist in computer studies, Data processing or informatics, especially in secondary level?
Do you have links to past questions for these competitions?
