Google AI is ever expanding, the company have invested heavily on it. The popular Google Assistant and it Duplex have received lots of great reviews.Google have partnership with the US military and this have raised many eye brows. Many believed the US military will eventually use the Google advance AI technology for military purposes.
AI simply means artificial intelligence. Avoiding to Google, AI is computer programming that learns and adapts. It can’t solve every problem, but its potential to improve our lives is profound. After Google partnership with US military on machines that can learn and analyzed Drone footage, there a lot of protest within and outside of the corporation.

Google in a recent blog spot have stepped out to clear the air on that. The post titled “AI at Google: Our Principle” in there the Company promised that it will not use it AI tech for military purpose.

Even if Google shared tech or is sharing tech with them. You think they'll tell the general public

Yes they will, in the US there is rules for such disclosure

Of course, it shall "almost definitely NOT" be used for war.

The general public will be pleased if the AI system is used in a Missile Defence System...that system wouldn't necessarily launch an attack on wherever the ballistic missile came from - another can do that!.

When the military buys the right to create an aircraft, they don't plan to transport passengers... They'll definitely attach guns and rockets to it.


The military (not just the US) only do one thing to/with technology. Yes...

My advise to the rest of the world is to improve their military...the world, right from recorded history has been so good at/in war. We can only get better.

Lastly, the military doesn't give a dang about democratic "rules". They only keep quiet when they're not in surface power.

One would think clearly if realized that:
1. Google is NOT the military
2. The military is NOT interested in providing email services. (LOL)

GOOGLE technology is ethical and they are always very careful about it. But the fact that there are advance Artificial Intelligent Technology out there is a cause for concern. Imagine such tech in the wrong hand. Now there is even fear that such tech can can tech over the world and dominate us humans...Remember The Terminator Movie where the Skynet A.I gain self awareness and destroy humanity.
