English Premier League side, Chelsea are set to battle Serie A side AS Roma for the acquisition of Bayer Leverkusen Jamaican winger Leon Bailey.

Italian outfit, Roma are in the market for another wide player after Barcelona, having ended their pursuit of Chelsea's William, hijacked their transfer of 22-year-old Bordeaux and Brazilian young star Malcolm.

With Willian now set to stay at Maurizio Sarri's side, Chelsea are still contemplating on making a bid for Bayer Leverkusen's Leon Bailey this summer.

AS Roma have been strongly linked with the 20-year-old Jamaica international and his father who also serves as his agent, Craig Butler said: “Roma were interested in Leon a couple of years ago, but since then I haven’t heard from the Giallorossi.
