Mohamed Salah raised the bar for Premier League top scorers last season, bagging a record 32 goals in his debut season at Liverpool. The Egyptian winger was exceptional for the Reds, and managed to beat Harry Kane - winner of the Golden Boot in both 2017 and 2016 by two goals.
Nobody has ever scored more than Salah’s 32 goals in a 38-game Premier League season, although Alan Shearer and Andy Cole both hit 34 in the days when there were 42 matches per season.

But who are the favourites for next season?

2014/15 top dog Sergio Aguero is still at Manchester City and likely to be in the running again, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang might fancy his chances in his first full season in England.
Romelu Lukaku, Gabriel Jesus, Roberto Firmino and Alexandre Lacazette are also among the favourites.
Some interesting outside shouts include West Ham ace Marko Arnautovic and City winger Leroy Sane.
