On the road of destiny, one of your greatest challenges will be how to handle the passage of time. Really, our biggest problem isn’t the devil; our biggest problem is dealing with the passage of time.Sometimes you are travelling and you suddenly hit traffic. You will immediately notice that people will begin turn to take a longer road, and they may end up being stuck on that other road for the next three hours.

Patience is a virtue that you need when you don’t have time. Most times, people stop shortly before their miracle comes. Your faith can’t succeed alone, it needs patience. While your faith has received the answer from heaven, your patience helps you to deal with the passage of time while God is working out the details. The devil knows your weakness in dealing with the passage of time effectively, so he begins to put pressure on you and brings people around you that will ask you all kinds of crazy questions. Learning to wait means you must understand what to extract from every period of your life.

In the book of Ecclesiastes 3:1, the Bible says that, “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”There is a purpose to every time also. What happens when you are impatient is that what you are supposed to learn while expecting what coming, will not be learnt.

PRAYER: Lord, I pray for the divine enablement to be patient on the road of life and destiny. Teach me to wait on you, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
