Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder is a problem that affects the brain that can make it quite difficult for children to behave normal. As adults we must have come across very restless kids that can’t sit for 5 minutes without jumping around, no matter how much you try it seems the child is not listening. That child may be suffering from ADHD. Sometimes it can make time in classroom challenging; interrupting activities and it affects the child’s social, emotional attitude and development.
Studies have shown that kids with Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder have brains that behave totally different from kids without ADHD.

Treating Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

Treating this condition requires three pronged approach behavioural strategies, educational support and medication. Treatment is more efficient when it comprises of the three approaches. But studies have also shown that medication is more beneficial.
An experience Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) professional should follow your child and provide long-term support. This should include monitoring medications and side effects in addition to following your child’s school performance, and sense of self-worth
