1.Site Engineer

The Role: The purpose of this role is to provide site engineering duties for a number of projects within the region. The Site Engineer will establish the level and survey control for contracts and set out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring that checks are made on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that records are accurate and comply with organisational and legal requirements
Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time Produce procurement schedules for the jobs and liaise with the procurement department to ensure site have adequate resources to complete the tasks
Produce Task Briefings
Produce 2 week look ahead in conjunction with the Site Agent Produce Site Diaries and Allocation Sheets

Person Specification: The successful candidate is ecpected to meet all the following criteria:

5 years previous experience of setting out on civil engineering projects
Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations
B.Sc./HND Civil Engineering
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with both clients and staff Self-driven and results-oriented with a positive outlook
Desirable Experience in using AutoCAD and MS Office
Temporary-works co-ordination

2.Land Surveyor

Key Responsibility:

Conduct physical site surveys using a variety of equipment and tools
Prepare sketches and notes and perform electronic data collection
Prepare site surveying documents as needed
Process field data, coordinate field staff, and interface with necessary third party
Prepare legal descriptions
Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites
Schedule project in logical steps and budget time and resources required to meet deadlines and profitability targets
Prepare and Review drawings
Calculate areas of land parcels and easements to be acquired using mathematics and computer software
Researches previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys and to ensure that land is free from any form encumbrances
Carry out surveys and investigate land topographies.
Execute vertical control surveys for aerial surveys and determine elevations for various surfaces
Collect important reference data before field surveys.
Collect field data, summarize field notes and makes survey calculations.
Plot field data using survey software programs, construct maps, and prepare reports.
Create topographic and site surveys for the development and the design of buildings, roads, and bridges.
Keep records and prepare reports according to specifications.
Comply with all applicable regulations and requirements including boundary calculations and legal issues.

Requirements:

Practicing License
B.Sc./HND in Land/Estate Surveying,
A minimum of 5 years cognate experience in construction.
Proficiency in the use of HD laser scanners.
Excellent interpersonal skill and team spirit.
Excellent presentation and communication skill
Ability to complete survey projects in AutoCAD meeting specifications
Ability to deliver large scale topographic surveys and measured building surveys.


3. Store Keeper

Responsibilities:

1.Policies & Procedures: Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
2.Knowledge of Materials: Familiar with description (specification, unit of quantity, application) of material to provide the right materials requisitioned.
3.Location of Material: Familiar with location of material to locate and issue the requisitioned material in time and of the right quantity.
4.Issue Control: Issue materials as per approved procedures to ensure materials issued are as per requisitions received and delivery is made to authorized personnel.
5.Classification System: Applies a physical classification system to items of similar nature are stored in pre-designated locations for ease of access and optimisation of time and efforts in material handling.
6.Record Keeping: Implement and maintain a filing system that ensures Goods Issued and other documents are preserved and easily retrieved.
7.Stock Count: Coordinate and participate in special and scheduled stock counts as required.
8.Safety, Quality & Environment: Follow all relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions so that personal safety/the safety of others is not jeopardised and a minimum level of product/service quality and environmental impact can be guaranteed.
9.Other Tasks: Any other reasonable request or task as may be allocated by Management.

Requirements:

B.Sc./HND In Any field
Minimum of 1-year Experience
Ability to use Microsoft office applications (Excel and Word)
Eye details and good communication skill

4.Mechanical and Electrical Engineer:

Responsibilities:

•Designing and giving advice on the installation of various types of building services such as elevators, air-conditioning, ventilation etc
•Evaluating tenders received for mechanical works
•Supervising the installation of building services, ensuring that specifications for standards, performance and safety are met
•Ensuring that building systems are in good working order before handing the project over to the client
•Overseeing the testing, maintenance and repair of the building systems for refurbished buildings; the mechanical engineer needs to ensure that new building services will fit into the existing building

Requirements:

B.Sc./HND Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience
Knowledge of Relevant Software

5.Safety Officer:

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and monitor health and safety hazards;
Develops strategies to control risk in the workplace;
Inspects construction sites to ensure compliance;
Ensures construction workers are following policies and safety regulations;
Ensures safer construction site among others.

Requirements:

B.Sc./HND in any field
HSE Certification
Minimum of 3 years experience in HSE

6.Crane Operator:

Suitable candidate must be able to use different different types of crane to transport various objects on the construction site.

Qualification: Minimum of SSCE Certificate
Experience: Minimum of 2 years

7.Mixer Operator: Suitable candidate must be able to examine material visually or with hand to ensure conformance with standards.

Qualification: Minimum of SSCE Certificate
Experience: Minimum of 2 years

8.Electrician: Suitable candidate must be able to install and maintain wiring, control and lighting system; inspect electrical components (transformers, circuit breakers etc); identify electrical problems with variety of testing devices; repair and replace wiring equipment among others.

Qualification: SSCE Certificate
Experience: Minimum of 3 Years

9.Mechanic: Suitable candidate must be able to carry out preventive maintenance; maintain vehicle records; make equipment available for us by inspecting and testing vehicles among others.

Qualification: SSCE Certificate
Experience: Minimum of 3 years

10.Site Security: Suitable candidates must have high level of integrity and physically fit.
