As you navigate your way through life, you must use your words in the right way so that you can walk in the centre of God’s purpose and promises for your life. You release your faith by confessing the word of God. Your words are so powerful that they show agreement or disagreement.

Your words can also shut doors of favour and blessings. Words are powerful tools. While God has given you the power to speak, He does not want you to choose your own words, rather He wants you to align your words with His words.

On the earth, there are two words operating over the affairs of men: the words of the devil and the words of God. God wants your words to be in line with His words so that anything you say would be in consonance with what He said. You must not go against God anywhere because if you do, the devil would be waiting for you on the other side.

If you do not want it, then you must not say it. Once you confess it with your mouth, it has the ability to manifest. Confession of faith is different from positive statements. The idiom, “Every cloud has a silver lining” is a positive statement but not a confession of faith. Confession of Faith is speaking what God says; it is not just saying something positive.

If you don’t want it, do not let it get out of your mouth. If you want it, find where the Bible says it is and confess it. That is your statement of account. Put it in your mouth and personalize it and God will bring it to pass.

ACTION: Today, I want you to get your Bible and speak the word of God into your life. It is well with you in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Let your mouth/ tongue be seasoned with salt so that it can administer grace to the hearers
