The transfer window closed in Spain on Friday night and with it came to the end of a record-breaking summer of spending in LaLiga. Thomas Lemar was the most expensive buy, moving to Atletico from Monaco.



This window, LaLiga clubs spent €888m, around €300m more than the last yr when total spending reached €596m, to strengthen their squads for the coming marketing campaign. It must be said though, Spanish spending trails behind that in Italy and England
