I have seen lots of nice shop with good prices close to Grand Central but seems everything in USA now is 'made in china'

lots of bargain shops on 5th Avenue.

in the soho there are lots of bargain outlets too.

5th Ave is quite long, I find more good bargains on the north side, close to central park.

You need to take care as many of the goods are now 'made in china', thus a bit cheaper.

you also need to watch it, they will add 8.88% NY tax to cost of item. ask before buying.

around Time Square, you will also find bargains.

and in all street corners we have cheap bags, glasses sold by 'black brothers'; not sure of qualities though.
