This is an interesting world cup but sad at the same time. The teams that seem to work the hardest and create the most chances don't really seem to win. There is alot of luck needed to win these games!

Spain in the semis for the first time in 60 years. I am over joyed right now. Even if we dont beat Germany, which i'm sure we will beat, being in the last 4 is a massive achievement

Hey, stuff happens. He tried but like we say in footie "He was pocketted" in that game by those Agbero Swiss defenders and this sort of thing happens to every star player so lef am for us I beg (you woulda noticed I use a lot of pidgin expressions so excuse my coloqualism)

Admit it the guy is a very skill-full striker wink.

^^^Switzerland were nothing but lucky against Spain. That goal was their only goal in this tourney. The couldnt even score against whipping boys, Honduras. A defeat to Switzerland does not take anything away from the Spanish side. Brazil lost to Norway in France 98. Does that mean Brazil arent good? Anyway I think Spain have a great chance of winning the world cup cos they wont be playing against teams that put all their men behind the ball. La Selecion por siempre

Spain will win because:
there's no pressure on them: germany after 4-0 drubbing of the argies are the favourites undoubtedly which means Spain have nothing to lose and will approach the game with a tension free mind set up.
Mission accomplished: spains primary objective at this wc is to break their underachievers tag which they've already done by reaching their first semis in 60 years.
Beautiful football: germany plays beautiful football and this will be of great advantage to Spain cos there'll no 'bus parking'
history also plays in Spain's favour cos they won their most recent meeting 1-0

Germany would need to get the ball first. Argentina had no midfield and no defence, so they could easily pick them out. Spain has a defence, the only weak link is Puyol. Do I even need to say anything about the midfield?
But my, Germany is on some kind of red hot form in this world cup, though. They won't go down to just anybody.

for all of Spain's midfield, if David Villa does not score what happens? need I remind you who Villa will have for company on the left? its Philip Lahm.

It will surely be a tough match but I believe the smart money will be on Germany.

It depends on who scores first. . . . .
The Germans have perfected the art of counter-attacking football and if the Spaniards allow them to go ahead, Spain would toast!
If the Germans concede first, i don't see how they can ever beat Spain or any of the teams left in the tournament.
